Music in Background: Something by John Mayer. Thanks to Tim, I got addicted to John Mayer and am busily downloading his songs, along with the new Coldplay album.
Just for Umair Khan, I'm updating my blog for his amusement. It's a few hours late, but meh.
Went back to my old high school for the first time in... two years? It was so odd. Nothing seems to change at MAC. The halls still have ketchup smeared on the floors, and the Tech Hall still has that funky smell. The desks are still the same with the same initials on them (For the past 40 years... no joke.) The lockers are still a violent violet that SAC decided to paint when I was in grade 11. But my grad picture is still there, the informal grad class 2003 pic... and MAC decided to sign its soul for Pepsi to advertise there. Instead of the Coke machines, there are Pepsi machines with built in "Recycling" boxes.
And a lot of teachers are just the same. I couldn't find Dr. B. who crammed three years of math into my head which I don't remember anymore, and didn't bump into Mr. Wong (Thank God... everytime I think of him, I think "fuck-tose"). I ran into my grade 12 English teacher and she was happy when she found out that I was doing a minor in English.
I forgotten all those little high school things that I used to do and they all came back. The yearbook signing in June every year, eating outside when the weather was good, the P.A. announcements at the end of the day, and just hanging out. I'm not sure if I miss high school, since I realized its so... regulated and hot in the summer.
Okay Umair, the blog was late, but I don't write on demand. At least this one was super long. And more importantly, it mentions you! (Don't you feel special and loved) And we're going to play tennis on Wednesday, right?
