Mac and cheese

I tried make homemade macronni and cheese today as a part of "Learn How to Cook" as I try to feed myself without resorting to take out. I heard that it was easy and got my hands on a recipe.

It was messy.

The pot overflowed and no matter how much cheese I put in, it wouldn't stick to the pasta. It also didn't taste very good, but I made myself eat it. Now I'm stuck with a crusty pot to wash.

I think I'll stick to Kraft Dinner and Korean food like rice. Can't go wrong with rice. I think I'll just stay away from Western food overall since I can't exactly cook it. I mean, with rice, you just have to wash it, put it in the rick cooker and plug in the rice cooker. Then take out the side dishes from the fridge, place them on the table, get a bowl of rice and eat. So much more simplier. Little prep time since all of it went into one week-end of making kimchee. And if I feel fancy, I'll try some tofu. Yummy... tofu. I think I'll get some later.

But yes, this is day one of trying to fend for myself. I think I'll just make a big vat of curry or something today after errands.

Hahaa....did you forget to drain the pasta or something? :S

Crazy Eunice! =)

Are you supposed to drain the pasta? It didn't say...

You are not supposed to leave water in the pot when you are mixing it with thje cheese sauce....unless it was a baked pasta...then you dont boil any water so there is nothing to drain...
