Music: Between two songs right now
Feeling: bleh
After having all my plans cancelled because an some old family friends came by (My mom didn't warn me, I was caught in sweats. At least I took a shower right before they came) I think I had the strangest 2 hour converation ever.
One of the old family friends has short term memory loss. How that happened, I have heard 4 different accounts due to pieous explainations, so I'm not sure how it happened, but after watching films on short term memory loss, reading about it and which brain areas are affected in class, it has not prepared me for the meeting. She remembers me, but not anything much more, but could remember how to get to the washroom in our house. She just got up and walked to the washroom wihtout asking where it was. And the same questions were asked over and over again, but it's getting better though since before it was total memory loss. All she could remember were the family and how to play the piano since she was in the U of T music program for it. Literally.
It was strange and now I'll just clean my room or something...

stuff like that (memory loss) always freaks me out because it could happen to anyone. i can imagine it would be devastating for it to happen to someone you know, especially a close friend or family member. i know i can't really empathize because it hasn't happened to me, but you have my condolences.
on a lighter note, i googled fanni and you should too! i am so proud of her!
