My Bed
Music: Something depressing from Shrek and now switching to something more upbeat... like Smash Mouth. Ah, the 90's and bad music brings me back to the time when I was 12.
Feeling: Bloated
I almost spent an entire weekend. On Thursday my shift on patrol ended really late and I headed over to Suzie's to sleep on a comfy couch that fit me, but her fridge sounds like crickets chripping. It helps that I have all my sleeping over stuff at her place, including my old glasses. Then after some shopping on Friday I went home, said hi to my parents and then hid in the basement to watch my online lectures. Which I still haven't finished. I should though...
Anywoo, went to school on Saturday to study and somehow I ended up sleeping over at Gillian's place on her very hard concrete floor rolled in a blanket. (I'm never going back into the Women Centre to study ever again and the couches at Foley are dinky) We stuffed ourselves with pizza and talked until 3 in the morning.
So Sunday rolls around and somehow I end up studying, then eating lunch/dinner with Matt and then going on an ice cream search which ended at Highland Farms where we brought a 2 litre ice cream bucket to bring back onto the rez where we and his roomies devoured the ice cream and tried to unplug the toilet. (Long story to that one, but let me say that it was not my fault) I missed my Sunday meeting and I realize right now that I have not done anything for Monday's meeting. Through the wonder that is the internet I can do my outline for that meeting in the morning of Monday hopefully.
So I get home at 9:30 after talking and will be falling into my bed that I named Heavenly Comfort since my first year of university. How I love my bed. I think I'll make an ode to it the next time. I'll put my poetry classes to use.

Music: Something from Moulin Rouge, switching it very quickly to The Proclaimers. Heh
Feeling: Slightly stressed... okay, very stressed
Some Stupid Things To Do
1. Keep in your disposable contacts that are supposed to be thrown out every two months in your eyes for three months because your glasses are somewhere on rez, but you're not sure which house/apartment you left them at.
2. To have Korean BBQ two times in less then a week and then plan to have another two the next two weeks.
3. To plan another Korean BBQ at rez with the family portable Korean BBQ grill where it will probably never leave Foley Hall until the end of exams in April
4. To ask for bangs while getting your hair cut and assume that the hairdresser knows that you mean long bangs because that's what you always get and then suddeny realize that you have a 15 cm hunk of your hair lying in your lap
5. To sleep over at rez for one day without checking your e-mail accounts and suddeny you're behind in everything in life as you try and scramble to catch up to the mad e-mails as you kick yourself mentally because you missed an very important fair.
Got new glasses. Oogle the new and expenisve designer glasses that have to last another 6 years. Actually, I'm having that "new glasses" effect where if you look at a flat surface it looks like you're falling down a hill. The computer monitor looks like it's curved. And I finally got my new contacts. Yay! I threw out my 3 month old contacts in the trash with great happiness.
I also finally got into co-op! Looks like my application wasn't lost after all. :) All I have to do is pay $800 worth of fees and worry about getting into a co-op tutorial. We'll all going to Korean BBQ on Wednesday to celebrate after my soc pysch class at 9:30 ish.

Music: Something by Lifehouse
Feeling: Ansty
Made some sushi, feel like eating.
And for the love of God, no more Korean BBQ!!!
And I hate my hair. I have very short bangs. I still not sure how it happened. I just went into shock when I saw a 15 cm hank of hair fall in my lap when I was getting it cut. I don't care if the style is the latest thing in Korea, I want that 15 cm long hair back. I'm hiding it with a hat these days or clipping it back. I'm calculating that it'll take me about eight more months to grow it back at 2 cm of growth per month.
Argh, I'm going to school to study. I can't do this at home.

Music: The Gingerman soundclip from Shrek 1. "Do you know the Muffinman?"
Feeling: Had my daily dose of sunshine on the roof this afternoon so I'm feeling great. I wonder if I have SAD...
NO! NOT THE BUTTONS! I'LL TALK!
Do you know... the Muffinman?
The Muffinman???
The Muffinman! *sob
Snuck onto the Green Roof and studied with Eggie. Also discovered cool chairs that have wheels, so of course we raced down the hall.
I love sunshine :)
I wonder if any of this makes sense. I feel warm and fuzzy for some reason.

Music: The Sweetest Thing
Feeling: Argh
I can't believe how much I have to print off for class. Poor trees, I feel sorry for them. I have this huge pile of paper in front of me and my printer is actually shaking on the table as it spits out more paper with scary looking symbols from stats for pysch. I'm running low on ink. It's the equiliant of a heart attack for my printer.
I can't believe how much reading I have to do for school. I take 2 days off and go out and all of a sudden I'm behind. I have to read about 2 chapters per class. And they are big chapters. And watch a very boring 3 hour lecture about research methods.
Anywoo, must find dinner. And print off more notes.
Mmm... pizza

Music: Something from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack... but would you believe that I hate that soundtrack now?! So now it's something from the Shrek soundtrack, Bad Reputation (Yes, Shrek again)
Feeling: Where is dinner? Dinnnneeerrrrr... need to find food.
I had my first UTSC patrol shift on Friday. Let me tell you, it was hard working while there was parties going all over residence. So Vivian, my partner for the night and I happened to partol rez a lot that night. We decided that we would go to the Peel Pub for fries next Wednesday for our Friday night that was used up for working.
Hmm.. must study for stats. I don't what the hell a continiuous variable is still because the textbook has NO glossary.

Music: FunkyTown, once again.
Feeling: Sleepy...
I found out that I get very grumpy and emotional when I don't get enough sleep. I had a nervous breakdown this morning and went from a stressed wreck to sobbing, then to argueing with my parents.
I then proceeded to school and feel asleep in my stats class for pysh. I already see myself so screwed for that course...
All in all, the first day sucked.
But looking forward to meeting my mentees and "moving into" rez on Saturday.
Frosh was fun, almost lost my voice, but I missed out on most of the major events like the pub and the island where I waited in an emergency room for four hours.
I feel so good! *Pelvic thrust
Feel that force

Music: None, and will be going crazy soon. My dad unhooked the speakers to the comp and hid them in an attemp to get James off the computer. I think it only worked b/c James has softball pratice...
Feeling: Where is dinner? And I have no insant oatmeal exept for the plain one. This is bad. Cindy will kill me. Instant oatmeal plain is disgusting, worst if we don't put sugar in it...
I realized that my last entry was useless and incoherent thanks to caffine. Now I'm fine, after the shakes and then the depressing mood I got into after the shakes.
Well Cindy, Rob and I will be camping out at school at the SCSU office during frosh week because we want to. This should be interesting. It's the closest thing I have done to camping this entire summer. I still need to go swimming. *Thinks. Maybe I should bring a watergun...
But before going into my next random paragrah (Prof Wilder would scream and go crazy with that marking pencil of hers) some people went away to University. So here are some good byes because my time online will suddeny lessen.
Heather-ya
Heather, Heather. What shall I do without you? Wither away and die? Nah... but I'll see you for sure at Guelph where we will... what exactly is there to do there? Didn't we pick that place so that we could see Jo and not pay a hostel?
Mr. Tim Lee
Tim, it was fun getting to know you this summer. It was even better with all the food and watching you try to figure out "white" food. You better meet me at Guelph after midterms or I will hunt you down and chase you while singing "Hero" (The Bonnie Tyler version) loudly all the way to remind you that the last time we saw each other was while we watched Shrek.
To Everyone Else
We already did the sob thing lasy year and you're used to it. So you just get a general good bye because Heather and Tim were freaking out and need to feel better. I'll see you guys at Christmas!

Feeling: Overcaffined
Met someone who I worked with in Nova Scotia and had to much caffine and now I'm shaking and not thinking straight. I'm also tping very fast and I'm not going to bother changing the mistakes because I don't feel like it bevause I had to much caffine.
Anywoo, met Kyle, he grew tller, Lydia is having fun in montreal without me and I finally got into PSYC02. It's also as hot as hell and I refuse to cmoe out of my nice cool basement utnil it gets a little cool.er
So I'll read, fill out forms and other sych. And when night finally hits, I'm going to Staples and going on a buying spree for office aupplies.
Argh, school is almost starting, Frosh Week is starting on Monday and I kind of have a place to stay for Frosh, but I think I want to camp out in the Attic with some freinds instead. Or maybe that's the caffine that's talking. Don't know, haven't decided.
And The Hours is a very trippy book, made even trippier if you read Mts. Dalloway
