Music in Background: Prozac, so guess where I am?
Feeling: The pain in my ankle...
OMG.
I miss the internet. I think I'm addicted to checking my e-mail twice a day or I get the shakes.
That or I'm really, really bored and don't want to study.
Well it's been an interesting week. Someone at Bell cut off our internet for no reason at all so no internet for a week. It's interesting since it means that James isn't hiding in the basement, chatting on msn or worst and is sulking around the house.
And then I sprained my ankle.
That is an interesting story, but to make it short, I was at work, fell off the bloody ladder while getting a pair of shoes in the back and landed on my left foot, thought it was fine and then proceeded to walk on it for about 2 hours.
At the end of the two hours it was more of a limp rather then a heathly quick walk. So I finally convinced my idiot of an assistant manager to let me sit down at the back. That's when I decided to look at it and found out that I had a little trouble getting it out because it was swollen.
So I had to call first aid from the mall, who thought it was fractured. Who then proceeded to call an albumance since I couldn't get a hold of anyone who had a car to drive me to the hospital.
Then I was wheeled out on the strecher in the mall since the emergency door was blocked by shelves. (Bata is going to have fun with the fines from the fire department, not to mention the Labour Board. Something about shelving)
The funny thing is that it all happened on Friday the 13th. And I was on a ladder. (Well, I was under it after, so I think it counts)
So I'm taking my Advil, elevating my foot and loving the ice packs that we have at home. I also cancelled my trip to Montreal, my driving test, meetings galore, telling Lynn that I can't go to the theatre to watch the Last Empress and other fun stuff that requires walking around and lost a lot of study time. Not that I'm making up for it anyway.
Overall, I'm in a good mood. Really. I just don't have to think about Montreal.
