Study Rooms, Singing and Other Such

Background Music: Gone Till November by Wyclef Jean
Feeling: So very exhausted from studying. I wonder why when you don't move at all when you study.

Today was a very productive day since I had a 10 hour break after my pysh class until my 4:00 class for English Lit (Which was very interesting. Some people think that Clockwork Orange is the work of the devil or evil, but don't realize that it's a great book.) The 10 hours were used to study for the Pysh and Bio exams and to skip down to the down the sacred halls of learning of UTSC with Naliah to where cotton candy was selling for 25 cents, something I could afford. Actually, it was free, but the 25 cents was going to a good cause, and I can't help but like good causes.
While studying, I realized a few things about the study rooms in the ARC. You need ear and nose plugs. Not only are there construction noises (Which my friend from Carleton was shocked about when we trekked to UTSC for reading week. I think she's been away from Toronto to long and has forgotten Toronto's mantra of "Construction is a good thing, unlike Martha's insider trading".) The rooms smell funky. And I don't mean the smell of the food that everyone brings in, but it smelled like shoe polish at one point. Really strongly. And people talk in completely silent rooms. I mean, aren't they imitated by the complete silence of a room packed full of people, staring at their books? And you know that everyone is listening to their conversations, which is sometimes very interesting. I heard about a stripper/student in a bio class and some fellow bio classmates crying over bio. Hell, some people even sing in class. One time there was a girl singing ABBA due to the fact that she saw Mamma Mia recently. Hell, if people weren't listening to the story about the stripper/student in that bio class, there were for sure listening to that girl sing. Or maybe that girl who was talking to herself why studying, trying to memorize a list. Hell, I talk to myself when I study, BUT AT HOME. I'm not that anti social yet.
On a random note, UTSC needs more windows. There's not enough colour either. If I was on the Board of Directors, then I would so something about it. Hint, hint.
Okay, must study now. Wait, damn it, my philosophy assignment that I have to do since I missed the last two.
