Insert Own Title Here (Remember, Interactive Site)

Music in Background: Echo Beach by Martha and the Muffins.
Feeling: There's a party tonight and real food. Guess.

Went to Robart's, fell asleep on top of my Bio textbook, while my friends were watching a movie on the laptop. So I went home to the smells of food. Yummy. So I'm typing this up with a plate of pizza and shrimp right next to me, under the excuse that I have to work so I don't have to join in with the New Year's games.
Happy fooding!
Eunice

Random Thoughts: Mmmm... Italian sausage... breaded shrimp... yummy veggie Korean things... and I need a Sexy Hotdog for the year 2004 once again.

For those who are getting heartily sick of Baci's words of wisdom that come separately wrapped in their chocolates since they revolve around the theme of love, try listening to Turpentine Chaser, a song about getting drunk with turpentine mixed with shots because you're heart has been ripped out. For those who are in the depressed stage, then try This Ruined Puzzle by the same band. If you're in a happy relationship then may I recommend Remember to Breathe. Music always makes people feel better.

Music in background: Noise of a computer lab and a scanner scanning
Feeling: Blah... and stupid

Feel blah Don't feel like my cheery self today, like a light shade of grey, to put it into my ex-piano teacher's words. Something's wrong.

Random Thought: My coffee is getting cold in the H-wing caf

Nothingness

Music in Background: Hey Y'all by Outkast. A song so good that they play it on Edge 102.1
Feeling: Like maybe it's a good idea to get more sleep without my contacts on

Sledding tomorrow at the Valley at UTSC at 11:00ish am. Bring your own trays, tables and garbage bags. The above items are easily obtained by "borrowing" them from the school, except maybe the garbage bags. Anything else that can slide across snow at high speeds will do. And someone has to bring the duct tape because all I have is painter's tape. Come and join people that are sick of studying, working and going to class.

Random Thought: I swear, if it snows again I will scream. And hopefully the creek is frozen over by now.

Some Everyday and Nice Sensory Experiences

Background Music: Jazz Hip Hop Mix by J5 (My favorite mix of music; jazz, swing, hip hop and a bit of Latin...)
Feeling: Happy that I finally caught by with Biology. I am a productive bum, muahaha. Ahem.

- Listening to the snow crunch under the feet of 3 busloads of students walking to morning class in silence
- Finding chocolate in your pocket that you forgot about
- The sound system that's screwed up in the ARC since you swear that you hear crickets in the background as the prof is talking. Maybe some science students set them loose, but it sounds pleasant
- Listening to your Bio prof use profanity mixed with really big words as he yells at a student with a laser pointer (A sound clip will be coming up soon once I figure out how to put it on...)
- Walking home in silence at night in a light snow and it's not freezing so you can enjoy it
- Burping on above street without excusing yourself because there's no one to give you looks
- Seeing a huge pile of kleenex boxes stacked against the wall once you come back home. Turns out that they're for a party that my parents are throwing on Saturday. I wonder why we need 75 boxes of them though. I'll never know because guess who's hitting Robart's? Sigh.
- Having your very first sip of coffee since Friday. Yum. I will reduce my coffee intake
- Realizing that you can now do painful looking streches without a problem now and instead of feeling pain, it's feels good
- Popping free smoked salmon into your mouth. All that's missing is the cream cheese and a bagel.
- Having a cute guy start talking to you out of no where. Didn't get his number though. Damn friends that told him that they had to go
- Seeing a friend that's in the front of the very long Timmie's line who can get you a medium regular coffee and a muffin so you don't have to wait

Random Thought: Quality Control by J5 is another good song too

Snow Day #3 and Counting...

Music in Background: Four Seasons - Summer by Vivaldi
Feeling: A bit out of breath

Another snow day at UTSC where once again evening classes were cancelled. Woo hoo! I mean, oh no, the Sociology test/midterm is delayed. All that studying for nothing.
It's only in Toronto where 1 cm of snow falls and then it's time to panics because the entire city just stops because it's in permanent gridlock.
The only crappy thing about the weather was that I didn't get to go sledding and while walking at night, trying to climb over mountains of snow that the plows leave at the edge of roads gets snow in your boots. Especially when your next door neighbor decided not to shovel the snow from the sidewalk onto their lawn and just stops and piles it in a huge mound at the edge of her property on the public sidewalk for me to try to jump over. Let me stress the word try because I didn't make it.
overall though, it was a nice walk home at night since the snow stopped by then, the wind wasn't blowing that much and I could secretly laugh at the people shoveling their driveways since I don't have to do it today. Muhahahaha.

Today's Random Thought: Valentine's Day is awfully close. The only reason I noticed is that it seems that the people I know are starting to break up with their Other who insist that we can't possibly study in the Attic because there's to many couples making out and that a pound of cinnamin hearts is $2.00 at Wal-Mart.

Snow Day!

Background Music: Can I Kick It? by Tribe Called Quest. The greatest song ever. "If you feel the urge to freak, do the jitterbug/Come and spread your arms if you really need a hug"
Feeling: happyhappyjoyjoy

Another snow day! This is the greatest thing EVER. I don't have a Bio lab! *Insert what people call the "Eunice's 'No Bloody Way'" face when I was told that evening classes were cancelled. Especially when it took over an hour to get to school for English class in high winds, hail and snow by bus. I have another week to work on my crappy report and I don't get to spin frog and rat blood and watch it separate into plasma and other components while I try to do calculations. (Math was never my strong point.) And by the way, does anyone know exactly how the liver works?! I can't find anything and I'm ready to tear my hair out over it.
This is so great. Two snow days in a month at university and I had exactly 2 in high school. The advantages of living in a cold, dark country the only place where it's only possible to get SAD (Seasonal Something Disorder where you're depressed if you don't get enough sun.)
Cheers!
Eunice
PS: Incubus is in Toronto! Isn't this exciting? I wish I was there...

Later on the Same Day...

Background music: Nothing. I think my uncle and aunt must be the most boring people around. I can't find any music at all to play because even their record player is broken
Feeling: Just a tiny bit stressed out

Taking a break from the bio lab which isn't as easy as it looks at first glance because there is no information on the mammalian liver in the textbook or the internet! I just get vague paragraphs. Grr... to have picked the lung or something easier.
Right now, I'm eating Kraft dinner because I started to feel the pangs of hunger. I started to look around the kitchen (Which is freezing, but not as much as my basement) which basically has nothing since my dear relatives come here about once a week. Not even instant noodles. I was starting to panic and trying to decide if I should order pizza or try combining curry sauce and just curry sauce with the noodles I found when I found Kraft dinner with the pots and pans. Thank goodness for my cousin and his "I don't cook" attitude who comes here once a month. Sure, there's no milk, butter, pepper or salt with the congealing mound of orange stuff that is supposed to be food in the pot in front of me and sure, it's really dry and tastes really gross, but it's better then my curry-on-noodles recipe which would have blown up on the oven or the winkled apples option or even the processed cheddar alternative.
Argh, this Kraft dinner is getting really gross. I think I'll just stop eating. Come to think of it, I'm full all of a sudden.
Yours faithfully, even with Kraft dinner,
Eunice

Background Music: Nothing. My uncle's house is silent as a tomb, but so far, REM, the Moulin Rouge soundtrack and some Latin music has been going through my head.
Feeling: Very awake, without the aid of caffeine.

Hmm.. it's a beautiful and very cold Sunday and I'm feeling the pricks of guilt of not going to church to do my Bio lab at my uncle's house since it's freezing in the basement. Prick, prick. Stupid lab.
Actually, it's my fault since I meant to take a short nap last night since I got so sleepy reading Sociology.
I woke up at 8:00 the next morning in my clothes that I fell asleep in. I slept for 13 hours.
The plus side of it is that I'm nice and awake and not feeling sick at all. It's amazing what sleep can do.
But Happy Lunar New Year everyone! Yes, that's right, lunar, not Chinese new year. Once again, I don't get any money and stuff myself with food as random people scream out "Kung Ha Fat Choi!" to me from their cars while I wait innocently at bus stops. ("Aren't you going to wish me a happy new year?! What the hell is wrong with you?! Kung Ha Fat Choi!)
It makes an interesting day.
On a random note (What would be life without a bit of randomness thrown in?) telling stories of my life, most notably the embarrassing moments to the entire world - if the world is interested - is very soothing. Almost as good as German fine white chocolate.

7. The Lake... insert a mental picture of your favorite lake here. (Dreaming of Wasaga Beach)

5. No more freezing your ass off on Route
4. I believe in interactive websites because it sounds progessive when it really means nothing (Like a good politician, eh Bush?) so please insert your reason why you want Summer 2004 to hurry up
3. Halifax, Nova Scotia and the YCW Crew! Need to say more?
2. Ocean beaches, yummy food and yummier guys. Okay, so maybe I can say a bit more on Halifax, Nova Scotia and the YCW Crew.

At Was the Best of Times, It Was the Worst of Times

Background Music: I'm A Gangster by Josh Tobin (I need some laughs)
Feeling: Annoyed, aggravated and slightly stressed. Need sleep

Argh. I hate school.
U of T, Scarb campus is freezing, unless your in the Humanties wing which is boiling or if there's public event and the investor big wigs are coming (Sunlife Microsystem, please visit more often, even if it's just to admire the plaque that has your name that's outside ARC 223 which is now named after you.), the Timmie's line is waaay to long just to grab a bloody coffee and most importantly, the UTSC bookstore won't give me a refund for textbooks of a course I dropped because my books aren't in "perfect" condition!
By the way, for anyone that's taking POLA51, Cdn. Democracy, do I ever have a deal for you on the textbooks and reader. E-mail me, phone me, whatever. You can either buy the damn things, hook me up with someone wants to or just comfort me and give me a digtal cam. (I'm turning 19 soon...)
But to comfort myself and to forget that I dropped about $90 on a course, I brought a kettle! It's very exciting. I looked like an idoit while I pratically skipped to my English study group while drumming the box. To celebrate I brought Tazo tea for everyone and we broke in the kettle in the ARC, in what is now known as Sunlife Microsystems lecture hall. Okay, so maybe we were getting strange looks while the kettle was steaming away at the front. And Jamie had to wait 10 minutes just to get 5 cups at Timmie's, but it was worth it. Now I have substance in the form of boiling water that can make instant noodle meals, coffee and tea while I'm living at school.
Ta ta for now!
Eunice
PS: I forgotten how addictive blogging was... I feel better already. Or maybe it's because I'm thinking about my new kettle and not my philosophy questions due in a few hours.

Catching Up

Background Music: Doo Wop by J5
Feeling: Happy with memories of me dancing to 80's music as a kid, then slightly uncomfortable since it meant that another Korean language lesson with my cousin right after. Needless to say, the dancing didn't help me learn. I still barely speak the native tongue.

Okay, so what exactly happened in the very exciting life of Eunice, aka Euni, White Bread/Wonderbread, Monkey Bum and others?
Well, once again, I'm looking for a job. I thought it was finished when I was hired at Bagel Stop, but due to conflicting interests/scheduling (It depends which supervisor you're talking to. Chris and I didn't get along very well.) I was let go after working 2 days/12.5 hours, but there's an opening just for me in April if I'm interested. Maybe it was for the best since my co-workers and I couldn't communicate very well due to the fact that can't really speak English and I can't really speak Korean. Oh well, they paid in cash and that money is going straight to a pair of new boots and food. As my good friends Suzie and Lynn says,"Forget about getting a job, get a boyfriend. It's the same thing."
Great words of wisdom from Suzie and Lynn everyone. Girls, listen to what they say, it's good advice. Jina Lee, for those who know her, is a great example.
But the boyfriend won't be happening soon, as I'm hidden away studying all the time, so yay for kids that are failing thanks to that blasted new education system and their rich parents that are willing to shell out money for tutors. I got a new kid who's not a problem (Unlike Eric who is a hell raiser, but about him later on.) just extremely uncreative. As I'm no longer a bagel artiste (I'm telling ya, bagels are going to be the new Eurporean coffees.)I gave myself another pay raise.
Hmm... I think that should be enough for today. So cheers and good luck with whatever you lovely people are doing as long as it's not illegal or unethical.

Here We Go Again

After a very long break, I was inspried to start blogging again after talking on msn. After all, the sudden discovery of girls, msn and what I strongly suspect is porn that my younger brother made and therefore less access to the net shouldn't stop me from blogging. Anyway, I missed bitching, telling amusing stories about the stupid things that happen to me and other randomness.
The only problem is that I forgot my username and password. So here's a brand new spanking account. It doesn't have a purple layout, or any monkeys, much less purple screaming monkeys since there weren't any purple layouts with monkeys in the list of choices that blogger.com gives you, but maybe one day someone nice enough will design one as I don't know anything about setting up a website. Hell, I barely know how to use blogger.com. I wallow in my ignorance. As long as the word processer works and the net doesn't stop working because of those pesky Taliban groups, it's all good.
But with an exciting new printer/scanner/photocopier that I got on Boxing Day, photos will be coming - once it's set up and figure out how to use the printer/scanner/photocopier. I think getting a digtial cam should solve this problem, but the cam I'm eyeing costs to much. And there's more pratical issues at hand, like getting a laptop. But what's even more exciting are brand new links! These are brain numbing and time wasting games to play while you should be studying. (In my case, trying to catch up in bio and philosophy) Who can stop playing Pac Man??? The happy memories that it brings.
Isn't this exiciting? A new site, new links and my addiction to blogging starts again! I swear, trying to kick this habit is harder then trying to quit e-bay and the scsu forum. Combined
Happily blogging,
Eunice
